Pioneering breakthroughs in the fight against cancer
Throughout 2022, we advanced our existing priorities and rose to meet unexpected crises and challenges, from a steep rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel rhetoric to helping lay the groundwork for the global response to the war in Ukraine. Thanks to you, and $1.1 million in emergency donations, we brought Hadassah healing to the Polish-Ukrainian border, sending 15 Hadassah medical delegations and medical supplies, treating more than 31,000 war victims and resettling more than 50 young refugees at our Youth Aliyah villages in Israel.
Yet as we faced crises in 2022, we also came together to celebrate at Hadassah's 100th National Convention, our first with my powerhouse staff partner, CEO Naomi Adler. Together in Jerusalem again, we celebrated our impact. And early one morning, before we saw Hadassah’s hospitals in action, we danced and sang Hatikvah together on the Haas Promenade, overlooking Jerusalem. I felt then, as I do now, that it’s always the people, our Hadassah family, who make our endeavors — big and small — so impactful. Thank you for your generous support and for all that you do for Hadassah!
