Across the US:
Changing Lives Together
Hadassah brings like-minded women together to effect change, empowering them to advocate for reproductive rights, fight antisemitism, advance women’s health and wellness, take on leadership roles, stand with Israel and raise support for Hadassah’s work in the US, Israel and around the world. Hadassah’s nearly 300,000 members, supporters and Associates across all 50 states are making an impact in their communities and beyond, every day. Together.
Speaking Out Across the US
Members and Supporters Making a Difference
Across the US, Hadassah members, supporters and Associates are standing up, speaking out, taking on leadership roles and supporting the causes that are central to Hadassah’s mission.
Supporting Choice in a Post-Roe Landscape
On January 23, following the 50th anniversary of the now-overturned US Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, Hadassah hosted a virtual program on “The State of Choice: Taking Action in a Post-Roe America,” discussing the healthcare impacts on women, the policy work being done in states and the need for coordinated grassroots advocacy and mobilization. At the state and federal levels, Hadassah advocates worked tirelessly, urging federal legislators to pass women’s health bills and fighting proposed restrictions in states including Texas, Florida, Illinois, Kansas and Missouri. Hadassah also reaffirmed its unwavering support for complete access to reproductive choice and healthcare through a January policy statement.
Combating Antisemitism Across the US
Hadassah worked to counter antisemitism through education and advocacy, and by cultivating Zionist identity and pride, throughout the year. Hadassah members advocated at the state and federal levels to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism, allowing for a united stand against Jew hatred across the country. In March, Hadassah partnered with the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism as part of the #StandUpToJewishHate campaign, and in May, Hadassah issued a statement commending the Biden administration for releasing a comprehensive US National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism that embraced the IHRA definition.
Evolve Leadership Fellows Launch Second Cohort

While the first cohort continued its work, a second cohort of Evolve Leadership Fellows launched in 2023. These outstanding women, 45 and under, are honing skills and experiences to lead the organization into the future.
